To fulfill his father’s dream, the groom went to get married in a helicopter. After the marriage, he returned home with his wife by helicopter. Locals thronged to watch the helicopter take off.

The helicopter landed at the Kotalipara Upazila helipad of Gopalganj at 12:30 pm on Friday. A Sultan, son of Haider Mia of Tekerhat Bandar, Madaripur Rajair Upazila, got off the helicopter as a bridegroom.

Gina Hossain Gerin, daughter of Sumon Hossain Bachchu, Youth and Sports Affairs Secretary of Kotalipara Upazila Awami League, got married to Sultan.

Awami League leader Sumon Hossain Bachchu made exceptional arrangements for this wedding. About 3000 people, including relatives and party leaders, were invited to the wedding. No gifts were taken from anyone.

Bablu Hazra, Bachchu’s brother and volunteer league leader said, “Zerin is the beloved daughter of our family.” We wanted to have a grand wedding ceremony for Jeroen. That wish has been fulfilled.
